Back in time

This is a photo from New Years (i only just had the photo sent thru to me) of Charlotte holding a crayfish. See too my awesome attempt at putting her hair in braids. It lasted her whole holiday in Kaikoura, so Daddy and Nana didn't have to worry about doing her hair the whole time.

I managed to (gently) blow my nose this morning. Who would ever have thought that would be such an exciting thing for me to do!?!

Maggie - TV Star!

Who saw Maggie on 2Tube the other night? I entered a hilarious clip of her when she was just under 1 and we went fishing. She picked a fish out of the bucket and did this really funny cackle at it wriggling in her hand and then put it's tail in her mouth. I sent it in to 2tube about a month ago (they don't tell you if it's going to be on, so just had to watch) and it was on tonight. She got 1st runner up (the winner got a 50" tv, so Daryl was bummed.). They didn't have the sound on which was a bummer as that was half of the funny, just showed her eating the fish. Still she made it onto tv!!

Well, it's been a bit since i had a decent post. Maggie had her birthday, Ryan is now 6mnths and things are ticking along nicely.
Biggest news of late is my trip to A&E. Story goes i went to help Daryl who was in ant killing mode. He started to climb the ladder and asked me to hold it, but before i even got there the ladder collapsed and whalloped me in the face. Kids were all in bed, so called Dad to take me to A&E where i got four stitches (reattaching the side of my nose to my face!!) and a tetanus injection. My face was bruised, swollen and very sore and it took all of my self control to go against the urge to wipe my nose. So not happy!! Had the stitches out today, so that's a bit better, but still a little swollen and tender.
Anyway i got a lovely mothers day out of it. Chocolates from the girls and then Daryl took them to the farm for the day, so i had a nice quiet one, just me and Ryan.

'Donalds Farm was the theme and a lovely day had by all. We went to the little ride on trains and had loads of fun. Easy, cheap and no mess to clean at the end!!
(P.S Maggie seems to be momentarily over her PMS phase, so is my adorable girl again.)
