Ryan has been awesome. He has slept 2 - 2 1/2 hr stints during the night. I am wrapt and have had some nice wee stints of sleep myself. It's 5.20am here now.
DDs adore him. DD#1 gives him lots of hugs and kisses, but she has been a little side-tracked from him as her cousin is here to play. DD#2 thinks he's her baby. Instead of being jealous (which i expected), she is possessive of him. Kinda cute, but she sometimes tries to rub his head a bit hard. She cuddles him and then tries to pick him up, so gotta watch her real close. She was cuddling him on me the first day and her cousin came over to look. DD#2 gave her such an evil look and hugged him tighter.
DH has been awesome with him too. He was great with DD#1 (first born), but with DD#2 he said been there done that, let me know when she's 5mnths. He reckons he's not a baby person and sure enough from when she was 5mnths he really started paying her attention. This time though he's quite happy to snuggle/ fall asleep with Ryan. Must be a first born boy thing.
